My experience working with administrators backs up your points above, especially that of understanding what is important to administrators. To me, that is trust. Administrators will trust your vision if it is backed up by sound procedures and details. The last thing I want to do is put my admins in an embarrassing situation where they are uncomfortable talking about the technology being used.

As a podcasting administrator, I feel that many of things you list above run both ways!

Frankly, I have been challenged to convince my teachers to podcast, but fortunately for me (and uncomfortably for them), I just sat them down and did it with them! That certainly seemed to get the ball rolling!! ;-)

Administrators who blog and podcast will have students who blog and podcast. PERIOD!
